Can you try closing Holdem Manager and the deleting the prefs.xml file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder and then restart HM

That did not work out.

I have just tried to reinstall HM, but i cant find an uninstall file anywhere.

And if I uninstall HM, is my database then also deleted?

No your database isnt deleted if you uninstall. You can uninstall via control panel > Programs and features Can you follow these instructions:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
2) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
3) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmOmaha.exe
8) Test if it for a while and see if it work

Your hands should be archived, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders and click on each site and then click edit and it will tell you where each site is archiving hands to. When you reinstall and create a new database import those files into the new database
