I have just made a backup of my HM database on the laptop and moved it to my other computer. The problem i have on my new computer is that it imports the same hands more then one time. Not every hand but some hands are represented muliple times. This fuckes up everything and i dont know how to stop it or how to get my database back to how it should be. This issue is both in 1.07.1 and now i have been running 1.08 beta 28

Most likely this is due to you restoring a backed up database to your current database, in case you didnt know you should only use backup and restore when restoring a database the 1st time when its 100% empty, once there is hands in the database you need to use the export and import option http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173

Now that the damage is done youll need to do the following:
Please export your hands from the old database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 then create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and reimport the hands into the new database

Can you create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and try playing and see if there are still duplicates importing?
