I installed HEM and it was working fine.

Now, for some reason, it does not work anymore. I did not change any settings whatsoever. I get the error as mentioned in the title.

http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/8731/hemfail.jpg

It most certainly is caused by SNG wizard thing you can see on the screenshot. I do not need that effing wizard, so if its gone I would not mind at all.

I removed comodo firewall and did a reboot, but to no avail. I still has the same error. Windows firewall is not on. UAC or whatever it is called is off.

I did the latest update.

I do not want to run my pc without firewall. So HEM has to work with comodo.

I do not want to reinstall hem, and most certainly not postgres, as in the past it has been a real terror to get a full and clean reinstall.

My windows restarted while HM was working and now it's not working. The import tab does not show anything and if I click on any other it will pop up an error.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

temporary solution: uninstal all the windows updates from today. go to control panel system and security windows update and hit view installed updates and uninstall all updates from today

I'm currently investigating which update is causing it:
KB2533623

KB2532531

KB2507938

KB2555917

Today's Windows 7 updates is causing problems with HoldemManager.
The temporary solution is to uninstall those updates and reboot.

KB2533623
KB2532531
KB2507938
KB2555917

-1 Go to control panel system--> windows update--> installed updates

http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/6506/red2l.jpg

-2 Click (red cicle) or click Today

http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/2990/red3d.jpg

-3 These are the four updates you have to uninstall.
Select an update--> click Uninstall
Are you sure you want to uninstall this update--> YES
You must restart your comptuer to apply these changes--> Restart Later
(RESTART/REBOOT your computer when all four have been uninstalled)

http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/3006/red4f.jpg

-4 Also click on Change Settings to make sure Windows isn't installing these updates automatically again.
Pick either:
Download updates but let me choose whether to install them or
Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and instal them

Did you succeed uninstalling all 4 updates ?
I think you can uninstall only 3 of 4 and then after reboot you can uninstall the fourth one. (KB2507938 ?)
