holdemmanager intallation

my holdemmanager wont install. At least he does install, but a connection with postgresql could not be made. What should i do? It says when i trie to install. The path must following the following instructions....

I guess the Postgresql installation is the reason for your problem.

Is Postgresql properly installed and the postgresql service is running?
You can check this in the windows services. You should see a service named postgres which is active and running.

Can you connect to the postgresql database via pgadminIII (this is a special program you should have in your postgres start menu).
