View Full Version : HM 1.11.06g: tourney data view issue

Hello,

I just noticed that I cannot see the hands of a tourney (in Tourneys-Data View) anymore.

The results are recorded correctly, the hands imported during the session (HUD is working fine), but in the Data View nothing is displayed when I select a tourney.

I have already performed all the normal maintenance in my database, including reindex; created a new one, imported the old hands, and played new sessions in this new database, but nothing works.

Using HM 1.11.06g, PostgreSQL 8.4 and Windows 7. Playing at PS and Merge, and both have the same issue.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Gustavo

I would suggest a new database, but you can try to reindex your database - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/88/Vacuum+Analyze+Database+

If that doesn't help: Your database is corrupt.

Export your Hand Histories
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands

Export Your Notes
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/rakeback-bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/tourney-data-view-01.jpg

Then can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/119/Warning:+You+have+XXX+Hand+History+Files+in+your+A uto+Import+Folders

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Hello,

I have done everything, but no sucecss. I had even created a new database, and imported just the last 2 days (ca. 900 hands)... The tourneys are imported fine, but still it doesn't display the hands.

I found the attached error log, just created. It might help.

I also noticed that the summary of Merge tourneys are not created correctly.

Please help.

rgds,

Gustavo

Merge does not write summary files so you will have to manually edit the results, once we get this other issue resolved - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/181/Data+View+%28Tourney+Results+Sub-Tab%29

It sounds like your postgresql installation may be damaged and need to be reinstalled.

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com and we can test the hands to be sure.

If you want to try reinstalling postgresql:

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

*Please update to the latest beta - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/82571-1-11-07-pre-release-4-a.html

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Install PostgreSQL 8.3.9 from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Postgres_8.3.9-v1.0.7.exe
