I'm trying to figure out how these EV #'s work.

It seems when i lose a hand all-in that I should've won.. that # comes out as a positive.

Like $1018 AI pre with AA against 10-10 loses and it shows $1646.

Now I don't understand this one though....
Seat 1 is the button
Seat 1: A ( $1307.75 USD )
Seat 2: B ( $323.48 USD )
Seat 3: C ( $523.00 USD )
Seat 4: Hero ( $1781.50 USD )
Seat 5: WW ( $20.00 USD )
Seat 6: E ( $485.00 USD )
CLT24 posts small blind [$5.00 USD].
sponsor posts big blind [$10.00 USD].
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ 9c 8c ]
WW raises [$30.00 USD]
Hero raises [$110.00 USD]
A folds
B folds
C folds
E folds
WW calls [$80.00 USD]
** Dealing Flop ** [ 6d, 7d, Th ]
WW checks
Hero bets [$185.00 USD]
WW raises [$1671.50 USD]
Hero calls [$705.00 USD]
WW wins $781.50 USD
WW shows [Kd, Ac ]
Hero shows [9c, 8c ]
** Dealing Turn ** [ Js ]
** Dealing River ** [ Ts ]
WW shows [Kd, Ac ]
Hero shows [9c, 8c ]
Hero wins $2012.00 USD from main pot

I get it all-in as almost a lock and it shows an EV $ Diff of -$983. Why is it so high... shouldn't it be very low -# (like -$10)as I'm going to win that hand 98% of the time?

O.k.. I see how it works. And the hand I posted above clearly has the wrong calculation. How can it be totally off like this?
