Hello,

I have just reinstalled my Windows Vista and can not install postgresql anymore.

It worked before perfectly. Windows are fully updated. UAC is turned off. No firewalls (except the one in windows and I tried it turn off too - no help) or antivirus programs.

Secondary logon is on. I am running as admin. Disc is NTFS.

I have tried your suggested version 8.3.9-v1.0.7. It crushes during installation - program stops working. Tried several times.

After each installation I have deleted net user in command line.

I can not download 8.2 as all mirrors you linked to are dead or not working.

Please help. Thanks a lot.

Try: PostgreSQL: Choose a Mirror (http://wwwmaster.postgresql.org/download/mirrors-ftp/binary/v8.2.21/win32/postgresql-8.2.21-1.zip)
