Do Purged Hands Export?

Buying a new computer. I imagine it will take it over 24hours to import my current database of over 7mil hands.

While it is importing, I would like to be able to play on this old computer. So, what I thought to do is...

(a) Export hands off old computer
(b) Purge hands off old computer
(c) Start Importing hands onto new computer
(d) Play for however many hours it takes on old computer
(e) Rexport hands
(f) Import the hands that I just imported
(g) Permanently move to new computer

So will step (e) export just the hands that I play for that day or will it export the whole shebang again?

It will reimport the whole shabang however HM should archive the hands played into a folder so it would be easier if you just reimport those hands for them dates after the first export
