We have been making a ton of progress on Stud Manager and are just about ready to launch the private beta while we wrap up Omaha.

We were lucky enough to have a lot of Stud hands donated by one of the support guys so unlike with Omaha we aren't in any need of Stud hands and instead will be sending out the private beta by Sunday night to the first 50 people who post in this thread.

First!

I had no idea you guys were going to put out stud support. Is it going to be just like Omaha, you can purchase it like an add on to your existing HEM (which you must first have)

I am not that great at stud, but I do enjoy it a lot. It's a great poker game. Send me the beta sir, I'll test.

So with full integration will HEM be able to support HORSE and Mixed 8-Game with HUD in real-time? Cause that would be so incredible. Right now I use like three programs still.

Oh shit, april fools. I didn't even think of that. I saw "Stud Manager" and my excitement started racing. I didn't even realize the date or the burn until reading through the rest of the thread. That is cold.

Awww see thats just dirty.

I guess if I ask when Stud support will really be added, seems ungrateful since we just got Omaha support.

I'd guess before the end of this year we should likely have a Stud module. It's just a lot more work than adding Omaha since fundamentally Omaha and Texas Hold'em are very close and we could leverage a lot of existing functionality very easily

Hi,

I just read this and got really excited as I play a good amount of hours of Stud and also some of Razz each month. I play on Stars, Ipoker and Ongame. Could I participate evaluating this beta?

Edit: Yeah, so excited I didn't read the remaining of the thread and now I catch it's April 1st. Good joke. I hope it can be attainable anytime soon.

The screen shot sold it for me. One question: that thing hook up through a USB port or what?

Mr. Snood could also develop a new tool called Stud Finder. Rub it across the lobby and it would beep or light up when it detected a good table. No charge for this idea; please accept it with my compliments.

draw games before stud please.

in my limited market research of one person I have found 2-7 to be much more popular than stud.

Don't you all agree that real Stud support should be added?

While it would be great, it's a totally different game structure and would likely require them to rewrite the whole code (i.e. probably a completely seperate product if it did come to light).

Yeah, this is one of the big things against incorporating stud. It would be about 5x the work that Omaha was and probably be wanted by about 1/5th the number of people. That doesn't mean we won't do it but it does mean that it falls quite a bit lower in the priority list.
