I have built a new windows 7 machine and I just downloaded 1.11.07 internal-3. I am building a database from scratch and I am trying to import my old PS hands. Only about 10% of the hands seem to import properly. I tried again and got some more to import, but something seems wrong.

1167 hands imported
1756 duplicate hands
16211 import errors

Set the date formatting of your computer to M/d/yyyy (and not to European default d/M/yyyy) and reboot

Are you importing the original handhistories.... or are you importing "exported handhistories"?

The original handhistories from stars. I'll try the date thing now.

No dice with the date format. I still get 16211 import errors.

I was going through posts with similar import errors this morning. Was there ever any resolution to this similar issue? http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-bugs/80251-import-error.html

Do you also play on Pokerstars.it?

Can you attach one of the handhistories here?

No, the main PokerStars site. These are hands from maybe 3 years ago, I don't know if that makes a difference.

Patvs helped me through a TeamViewer session, but I still have problems. He advised me to upgarde to Windows 7 SP1, which I have now done, but the import problem still exists.

So far I have,

- Deleted and recreated a new database
- Changed my date settings to US
- Turned off UAC
- Updated Windows fully
- Run HEM files as admin
- Turned secondary logon to automatic
- Turned off avast and windows firewall
- Turned off and exited unnecessary programs
- Uninstalled postgres 8.4 and installed 9.0

I'm running HEM 1.11.07-internal 3 on Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, which was installed a few days ago.

One further point I have noticed is that HEM is not copying anything to HMarchive. I assume that is standard if I am manually importing hand histories from Stars support as opposed to importing HHs from my Stars directory.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found most of the original HHs on my old drive and tried to reimport them into a new database on HEM. After attempting to import 2 400 of 30 000 HHs, it imported 37 000 hands and resulted in 14 500 import errors. I stopped the import process as there wasn't much point in continuing with so many errors.
