When I try to Vacuum Analyze Database I get this message,
"There was an error during the vacuum. Please manually vacuum your database through pgadmin."
What is pgadmin and what steps should I take to vacuum my db. Also why am I getting this message?

ok, the FAQ pointed me in the right direction and I figured out how to do the vacuum.
I have postgresql 8.0. Do I need to upgrade to 8.2 or 8.3?

I don't think upgrading will make any difference; I have 8.3 and still need to vacuum manually.

If your not having any problems then 8 should be fine although the instructions might be slightly different for that version to do it manually

Have this error too with postgreSQL 8.3.3 and WinXP. Seems to be a small bug.

and almost year and a half later, we still have the bug :-D
if there's nothing worng, then there's nothing to fix?
Com'on, just put it out of the menu or something, because everytime I update I choose this option thinking "this is my time, baby" :-D but it's not, and then I can't stop crying and that makes my mom sad too. ;-)
Seriously, are you going to make it work? (just a freaky moment of my life)
