View Full Version : Stars Tournament Summaries

OK this is a longshot. I'm trying to get my Stars tourney summaries for the last 7 months. Stars sent me the first 200 in the standard format and they've imported fine. The other 2500 or so tourney summaries were all sent as one large text file but the format and data is not the same as the standard summary and is not compatible with HM.

It seems to the only way i can import the summaries is by requesting each one individually using the tournament ID. But this will take forever,literally.

Can anyone suggest a faster way to do this, bear in mind i already have the last 200 imported.

Can you attach the large text file.

Thanks, the other larger file which couldn't be uploaded here is the one i'm more concerned with (SNG's) . Should I email that to you?

Are you sure it wasn't an HTML file with all these columns? I have never seen this format in a text file like that. What I have seen for very large updates is a large html file with the same type of fields and data but HM knows how to import these

I'm at work now so dont have access to HM but I've looked back over emails and Stars initially sent the files as excel spreadsheets. I wrote back asking them to send them as text files. They didn't send them as htmls at any point.

If I save the txt files as html will HM be able to import them?

Does the text files have Html formatting, if not then try emailing stars and asking have they the summaries in the html format
