using windows vista. first off, the hud positions ended up screwing up and i would get a pop-up asking me if i wanted to rewrite them about halfway through every session. then the "exception thrown in destructor" error would happen a few hours after i started the program. now, when i start hold em manager it pops up with the "start auto-import" button already engaged, but without table manager, and without actually importing anything. when i first purchased this, i thought it was a great program. i loved all the filter options and everything, but lately, with all the unresolved bugs, it's not worth the trouble to even run it and i wonder if it ever will be a stable program. also, is there anywhere (other than the bare-bones FAQ) i can find info on getting the most from your product if i'm not a 6max cash player? i was under the impression when i purchased it that there would be updates on the articles since it says there will be in the existing ones, but i am yet to see any new reports. apparently i'm not the only person skeptical about this.

The articles are just an add on to Holdem Manager, we dont charge extra for them and more will be added, the majority coming are for 6max but Roy may also be doing some HU or Full Ring ones, the reason the majority are 6max is because i wrote most of them and i dont play HU or FR so i dont think i would be qualified to write them for anything other than 6max. There is tons of information on the internet and tons of stuff on 2+2 about how to play HU and 6max

Regarding your issues its sounds like your running UAC, please disable it http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

If the problems then persist with the overwriting of stats use the save and restore positions to save time fixing it http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=149 and also make sure your using the latest version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm1.08Beta.exe and finally see this thread http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4899&page=2
