View Full Version : HUD not starting

HUD isn't starting in real tables or replayer and even when I try a 'Relaunch Hud'.
That problem started happening after I cried a new database (Backup/Restore). I have two DB's and it happens on both.
Every time, I got a Windows pop-up message: HMHud has stopped working.
My version is 1.11.06g and my OS is Windows Vista.

Any help?

PS: Hud.exe and HoldemManager.exe have "Run As Admin" set and UAC is disable.

Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Are you using Norton?


Run a Windows Update. Make sure Vista is updated to Service Pack 2 and has ALL additional updates installed.

On which pokersite are you playing?

Hi Patvs,

My anti-virus is AVG. No Proxy, no firewall, no Norton.

I playmainly in FullTilt, but I strongly feel that the problem is not related to sites, because it happens over the Replayer with hands played on PokerStars and PartyPoker too...

I guess that the problem is not related to Windows version too, because it worked before I created a new database.

Weirdly, while making tests, it worked by running HMHud.exe manually (double clicking over the file).

Is Vista updated to Service Pack 2?

My Vista wasn't on SP2. I updated it and it didn't work...

However, I fully reinstalled HM (deleting program and RVG software folder) and it worked... Guess?
