Hi,

It's about time to report this issue as I get frustrated by it. I've noticed it already for awhile and it happens quite frequently although I had no problem before..

When I'm playing the "Number of Pots" starts to hang on some tables (randomly I think) and result is that I can't saved the "previous hand" if I'd like to due to the hanging.. It keeps hanging for awhile and I think it stays that way or at least for a big while before it stop hanging..

Hopefully, you could help me with this issue as I wanted to practice session reviews efficiently by using mostly "saved HH" in-game..

Btw I'm playing about 15tables and used to play more before and never had this problem..

Greetz and thx in advance

It sounds like you may have created an import/archive loop by assigning a sub-folder of an auto-import folder as your archive. This will cause the importer to rescan many old files and can lag/freeze the HUD or cause it to not work at all.

Move the files in the handhistory folder to your \hmarchive folder and import them via import file or import from folder.

Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Please attach your holdemmanager.config and prefs.xml file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager and prefs. Windows hides 'known file extensions' by default.
