When i start HM ( 1.06.01p ), I get a popup with: "Holdem manager is making an update ti your database. Please click ok and be patient - this should not take long"

After I click OK i get this:
"AN error occurred while updating your DB: ERROR: 23505: could not create unique index
Please close down any programs accessing the database and relaunch Holde manager"

Please i need this fixed ASAP..

Have you tried rebooting, sounds like the database is locked?

I've got the same problem after updating...can't get it to work.

Have you tried rebooting your PC to free the database in case its locked by something. When you restart make sure to run HM before any other programs and let us know if its still happening.

I'm having the same problem after updating to 1.06t. I tried restarting my computer and making sure nothing else was using the db. It still won't work and I still can't open HM.

What version did you upgrade from, are you getting the exact error above or a similar one, if its similar please post the exact error.

Upgraded from version a.

And it is the exact same message as the other guy is getting.

Ok ive checked into this and Roy has a fix coming out in version U, which should be released soon. Keep and eye on the releases forum or contact Roy to see if he has a Beta Release so you can test it for him on support@holdemmanager.net

I "fixed" this problem by creating a new database.
Currently running 1.06.01t and all works so i stick with this one for a while...:)
