Filters/HH files - replayer/Import

I am using 1.06.01i and have been reluctant to upgrade because of the many reported problems with later releases (and this one works - normally :))


HH PROBLEM

I imported some hands that were exported from a PT2 DB.

This is the HH in the PT exported txt file (which has 300 hands in it)

I cannot play this HH through the replayer.

If I look at my own HHs there is not the repeat of seats I see here.

FILTERS

We see that in the hand above there is a PFR, a 3-bet, a 4-bet, a push and the 4-better folds - not a bad idea with K3s :)

If we look at the hands panel we see RRF against this hand as we would expect. However, if I go into filters, and select "Raised preflop 3-bet" (whether or not I select PFR), this hand does not appear.

IMPORT PROBLEM

I imported 890 hands for yesterday (together with many more from pervious days). These were imported into PT2 and HEM. PT2 correctly picks up 890 hands but HEM only gets 771.

Alot of the PT import problems were fixed in this version http://www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/hmupdate1.06.01p.exe

1) Will the PT import "fix" also fix the HH files that HEM stores so that they can be used?

2) What do I do about files already imported? How can I get rid of the errors and get my HEM Database back to the correct state? For example, if I re-import the 890 hands that HEM only mananged to see 771 of (and also mis- stored HH), when I re-import, what will it do with the 771 hands it already has that do not have correctly stored HH? (I need them for playback or future export etc); will it find the missing 100+ hands?

3) The Filter error is not just on the latest imports. According to my database I have NO hands at all that went RRF (if I filter) and that is wrong! You did not comment on this at all in your reply. Even on my own data and with imports from FTP using HEM, I can clearly see a RRF hand when I look at unflltered data. If I insert the filter "raised Preflop 3 Bet" the same hand does not appear.

4) I mentioned in my email that I had not upgraded because of the numerous problems people (seemed) to be finding with later releases in relation to crawling import speeds and HUD problems. If I upgrade will I be "screwed"?

Answers to these points would be useful.

1) Im not sure what you mean here about a PT import?

To answer your question yes all the problems youve posted here are fixed, you will however need to delete the corrupt HH first and reimport them http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=152 following them instructions

The problem is caused because PT seem to be tweaking and changing their export formats and it makes them very difficult to fix.

2) Already answered in 1, just need to delete the corrupt HH and reimport. Sometimes HM needs to be forced to reimport hands that were previously in the database so to be safe move them to a new folder for the import

3) This is fixed in P but again you may need to delete and reimport hands that are not correct.

4) I dont think the crawling speeds were as a result of the upgrade as these are assosiated more with people who always have had this problem however the new updates have increased performance for alot, although some people are still experiencing problems or reduced speeds you should be fine but i cant gaurantee it. Have you still got the download for 1.06.01i if so keep it update and if your not happy go back.
