Can't register HM

I just bought Holdem Manager Small Stakes version, and it doesn't want to activate my license .
I already deleted ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic and C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\holdemmanager.exe and it still doesn't work.
I also tried to reset my license key at holdemmanager.net/registration but it gives me an error - "access denied".
What else can i do?

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe



(don't delete holdemmanager.exe...
only in very rare circumstances must you delete holdemmanager.exe.ldat which is a different file)

First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)

Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)


Also please try this: (it will debug the software)

1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
2. Open HM and register
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

I already did that without any success .
However , i got a reply from support@holdemmanager.com

1. Shutdown Hold'em Manager and update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2. Navigate to your RVG Software/Holdem Manager/Config folder
3. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
4. Restart Hold'em Manager

You should hopefully be able to enter your code now. Once you have done this close Hold'em Manager, delete the LicDebug file and restart Hold'em Manager.

This did the trick.
