Hi,

My database has become very slow so im wanting to vacuum it etc, however when i try too i get 'there was an error during the vacuum. Please manually vacuum your database through pgadmin.' I follow the instructions for how to do this, however the password, for progresql, i enter is incorrect. I have also tried following these steps for getting round this

' You cant retrieve it but in postgres you can edit the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data\pg_hba.conf file and change md5 to trust and resave and it should be ok with any username or password. '

However i can't open that file. I am at a total lose for what to do next.

Can you help?

Many thanks

Baba.

What do you mean you cant open that file? Do you get an error, maybe youve UAC enabled? http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=73

Also if you open your holdemmanager.config file you should see your username and password near the top.
