Creating new HUD - questions

Hi, I am creating a new HUD for HU play only. Questions:

1) On my six max HUD I end up with a '/' character separating each of the stats. On the HU HUD there is no '/' character separating the stats. Why is that? I cannot find where to configure the seperator character if there is such a thing.

2) In my new HUD I am attempting to add an abbreviation to the 'Abb. Name' field, but it does not appear. Abbreviations for all the other stats do appear. Why would that be?

1) Go to hud options--> table preferences--> the separator character default = '/' (this should affect all HUDs)

Go to hud options--> player preferences--> use for tab
Select the 6max and HU HUD configurations (and ALL the other HUD configurations), to check if they have conflicting or overlapping settings.

2) You can't add an abbreviation to the stat "Abb Name"
The Abb Name stat will display the player's name.
You can control the length of the abbreviation by changing the value of "decimals":

It converts to a weird system:
Decimals = 0-->8 letters (for example HotDreamGirl will be displayed as: HotDream
Decimals = 1-->4 letters (HotDreamGirl will be displayed as: HotD)
Decimals = 2-->3 letters (HotDreamGirl will be displayed as: Hot)
