I have HEM, which was upgraded to HEM + OM some months ago.

I am on vacation, using my netbook, so I downloaded the latest HEM/OM update and applied it. Now when I start HEM I end up at a screen which says the are issues with your license. It shows my old HEM only license key, which shows as disabled on the web registration page.

I have reset the valid licence via the web page, and renamed the holdemmanager.lic file. Still I can't make any progress. It still shows me my old licence key then terminates when I click OK, and at no point is there anywhere to enter my correct licence key.

What do I do to fix this ?

First of all, we need to enable the option to see Hidden Files: How to see hidden files in Windows (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html)
http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/images/hidden.jpg
Problems Registering Holdem Manager:

Delete C:\ProgramData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic (XP Users can find the file at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\XHEO INC\SharedLicenses\HoldemManager.lic)

This is a hidden SYSTEM file. (not just a regular hidden file)

And please try this: (it debugs the software, allowing you to enter the new serial)

1. Create a new text document in the Config folder and name it LicDebug
2. Open HM and register
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

I had already done the first thing with the .lic file.

The creation of the LicDebug.txt file allowed me to enter my current serial number.

Thanks for the help :)
