Hi, basic question I am afraid....

Next to a lot of the numbers in the popups there is a number in brackets, e.g. it will say:

Call Open from MP 10% (30)

What does the (30) mean? Is it simply the sample size, ie. in this case we have seen the player Call an Open 30 times?

Yes.. it's the sample size.

Some stats have very little meaning if they're based on a sample size of 1-5.
So you can also go to hud options--> player preferences--> stats tab and change the "min samples" value (default is 0)

When set to for example 5, stats won't even appear in the HUD if they're only based on a 1-4 sample size.

Thank you, but I have a follow up question regarding the 'min samples' setting. It seems to only apply to stats in the HUD.

If I have a stat that is displayed in the popup, but not in the HUD itself, then I presumably am not able to set the sample size? Is that correct?

Thanks

Yes.. that's correct.
Min Samples will only work for the main HUD.

"Call Open from MP 10% (30)

I think that the 30 refers to the number of times it would have been possible to call an open from MP, so in this instance '10% (30)' would be 3 times out of 30.

Is this correct?

Allright, that is different to what I suggested so thank you for the follow up.

You can close this thread.

The sample size in the brackets only seems to display when the size is small. Is there a way to get it to stay up for larger samples?

edit: never mind, I see that it isn't possible.
