So today i ran a manual vacumn of my database and half-way decided to quit as it appeared that the program had completed its vacumn.
The 'ok and 'cancel' tabs both disappeared as i attempted to quit it so i prematurely just closed the program now hold'em manager doesn't want to open and i get the message:
'failed to establish a connection to 127.0.0.1'
Using the advice in the FAQ i have attempted to to re-install the postgres program yet i'm still getting the same errors. When i go to pdAdmin and enter my password i get the error message: 'server doesn't listen'
Please note that everything was working fine before i cancelled the manual vacumn so i'm guessing this the cause of my problem?
