Hi,

I'm planning to purchase hold'em manager but I have 2 questions which I hope you can help me with ?

1. Several months age, I've tried the trail version of PT3. Now the program and the PostgreSQL database are still installed on my laptop (btw is vista).

Is it best to delete the old database before I install HM ?
I've seen there is a way to import my hands from pt to hm.
So I was planning to export the hands, delete the database, install HM (+database) and then import the hands. Is this the best way ?

The data isn't that important, so if it is difficult I could just start a new database.

2. Now I want to install HM on my laptop (vista), but I'm planning to buy a desktop this year.
Is it easy to copy the database to my desktop and use it on 2 differents systems ? (desktop will be XP and Laptop unfortunatly Vista).

Thank you for your reply !

1. You can install HM, make your export/import after that and then remove the PT3 DB.

2. Yep, easy: http://208.109.95.123/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=12
You can share the same DB via an external HD too.
