Hi,

I am experiencing an odd problem with HEM after installing the Sharkscope HUD on Vista and playing on Full Tilt.

Everything was working for a while, but now Holdem Manager is suddenly not starting at all. The process starts and I can see the process in my task manager but I don't even get the initial splash screen telling my holdem manager is starting let alone any other window/error message.

I have tried installing the update then uninstalling HEM and re-installing the latest version it but I continue to see this. I have also uninstalled sharkscope HUD and uninstalled HEM - then re-installed it but the issue is still there. Has anyone seen this before or any ideas what has happened ?

This is looking like a re-install of the OS but I am hopeing that can be avoided.

Reboot your computer.
Can you check it the postgreSQL service is running?: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmmain.aspx?faqid=34

If yes, can you reinstall HM following those steps:
1) Make a backup of the "Config" folder in a safe location, this folder is in the RVG Software\Holdem Manager\ folder
2) Export your HUDs via "HUD Options => Player Preferences"
3) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
4) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
5) Reboot your computer
6) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Upgrade HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm1.08Beta.exe
8) Test if it works for a while and if it does proceed to step 9
9) Overwrite the backuped "holdemmanager.config" file in the new Config directory to recover your settings
10) Test if it works again for another while and if it does proceed to step 11
11) Import your HUDs via "HUD Options => Player Preferences"
12) Test if it works
