When opening Holdem Manager I get this information: "The following error occured when trying to open the database:" ( translated from Danish to english) "There could not be read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was interrupted by an extern host"

This is a bit annoying since it closes Holdem Manager every time I get this error. I play on the prima network.

Ps: I only have the trial version but I plan on buying the real version when the trial time is over so I would really like this problem to be solved.

If your using Vista can you do the following:
http://208.109.95.123/faq/?f=73

Also make sure that both holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are running as administrator if you’re using Vista. To do this close down Holdem Manager and the HUD and right click each .exe file and go to properties and look on the second tab to run as administrator. You’ll find the 2 .exe files at the following path: C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager.

Then can you do this:

Thanks so far.

I have tried the first link you posted but it did not seem to solve the problem so now I have started following your second link but in the control panel I can not find anything named "Administrative Tools" and "services" so I can check if the PostgreSQL Database Server is started, can I check that anywhere else?

I do use vista and I run the programmes as administrator.
