Fatal 28000

My holdemmanager has been working fine for a few months, then today I got this error message when I tried to start it up;

"The following error occurred when trying to open the database: FATAL: 28000: password authentication failed for user "postgres." "

Can anyone advise me on how to proceed?

Can you check if the postgreSQL service is started:

Reboot your computer too.
