I tried out holdem manager on my desktop a long time ago. I am not purchasing HM through stox poker and want to be able to set it up to work via my network between my laptop and my desktop with my desktop being my primary database. Now I know to go to the fact to learn how to set it up so that shouldnt be a problem but I am wondering if there is a way I can completely erase my current database and start completely over since it doesnt have any relevant material and I will import the hands that I have saved on my laptop to the database. Can I start completely over and should I even do this or is it just a waste of time and I will still be able to set everything up properly? Thanks

So you dont mind losing you current database? If so you can just delete the old one http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=21 then create a new one http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and import all your hands into the new one.

The database was never really used so it doesn't have many hands in it. My laptop has many hands on it though. I don't mind using it if it won't be a problem setting it up to network the database.
