I just played my first session since getting a new computer. I imported my old database and played about 5600 hands. Only 4000 imported in that database but after making a new database and putting the HH's that were imported back into the import folders it imported all the hands.

Any fixes to this that will let me use my old database?

Thanks

I'm experiencing a similar problem. Backed up a postgres 8.0 database and then restored it into 8.3. Now it doesn't import hands correctly.

have a similar problem, I have postgres 8.3 on laptop and pc. My laptop imports all hands, then I move the files to pc and import them there, but I get a lot of import errors. When I play at pc everything imports fine, then I move the files to my laptop and get a lot of import errors too.

Does HM change files after importing? Or how can this happen?

Export your hands http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 and then create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and then see if the problem persists

When I try and export I get a stack depth limit exceeded. What next?

Try rebooting and see if the error persists, did you keep your archived files

Made new database and imported old hands and it seems fine. Pretty sure this happened last time I imported my database onto a new hard drive.

Ive just checked some old threads and this is a problem i actually had myself and couldnt solve (stack depth limit error) and the only way i fixed it is by creating a new database and reimporting my hands. Are you sure you didnt archive your hands, HM auto archives them to C:\HMarchive so the only way they wont be there is if you went to that folder and deleted them (you might have choosen another folder yourself either.
