Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Updating HoldemManager will not affect the database.
Your database if stored separately in the PostgreSQL database.

(note: even reinstalling PostgreSQL won't overwrite the old database... the old database should always be save. Do BACKUP your archive folder C:/HMArchive somewhere save that contains all your original handhistories, in case your harddisk fails)

Still same error after update as you can see in the picture.

Please uninstall HEM using Revo Uninstaller: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+

After completion please reboot your computer and download and install the full installer from our homepage. Please make sure that the postgresql option is disabled during the installation.

I followed all your instructions but still have the same error!. I guess it is nothing wrong with HEM but something to do with Windows7. This is getting really frustrating now.

All service packs and windows updates installed?

Reinstall Microsoft .NET Framework:
