OMG I friggin' hate updating windows!
Okay, I just got a new computer (OS = Windows XP Home) and downloaded HEM on here as my second comp. A few days later windows update says it needs to install Service Pack 3, so I install it. I go to open HEM and it says it can't connect to PostgeSQL.
I've went through all the FAQ pertaining to that specific message and also stopped my Avast Antivirus and Windows Firewall.
I guess I need to know if anyone knows any way to fix this.
-I've uninstalled PostgreSQL twice and reinstalled; nothing.
-I've checked to make sure PostgreSQL is running by shutting it down and restarting it.
-I've done a system restore to a point prior to me installing SP3
None of this worked... Any suggestions?
