I checked out the link in the HM FAQ about 6m vs fr (http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=9), however that only refers to the database.

What about the HUD?

I have been playing 6m and FR on the same site and think that the HUD is taking stats from my 6m HHs and then applying them to the FR tables, causing fairly bad misreads. A player who's 28/26 at 6m is quite different from a player who plays 28/26 at FR.

So what exactly is the deal with this? Does the HM HUD apply stats from FR to 6m and vice versa? Or are they separate? Or is there a setting I can change for this?

Hud Options -> Additional Hud Filters

I saw this, but am looking for something a little easier.

I think PT3 automatically shows stats according to whether the table has 2, 6 or 9 seats. Although having this filter is useful, wouldn't it be easier to just have HM do this automatically as well?

Just to make sure I understand how to use this, though:

The first column is the # of seats at the table; then the min/max refers to the min/max # of players dealt in? Or is the # of players seated at the table?

e.g. To set my FR HUD to only show stats for hands in which 8+ players were dealt in, I would take the 9th and 10th rows and set the min to 8 and leave the max at 10. And to set my 6m HUD to only show stats for hands in which 4+ players were dealt in, I would take the 6th row and set the min to 4 and the max to 6+?

Is that correct?

If so, you may want to consider changing the name for the first column to "# of Seats"
