I get this error

'unable to read data from the transport connection: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host'

Using vista

I followe dhtis guide to link HEM with weaktight. I followed it to the letter.

two sscreenshots of what happens when i connect via HEm and postgresql. I changed everything back to what it was like previous to changing configs with weaktight. Stillt he same

I think this is caused by the .net framework update patch for vista, but I don't know how to fix it.

Exact same problem for me as well.

yes i've done that ldo. it restarts the service,then when i open HEM same thing.

I've also reisntalled .net and re-installed postgresql. Same error.

You need to follow that FAQ exactly as if you skip just 1 step or disable something instead of uninstalling it then it wont work
