View Full Version : HEM not bringing hands up if i click all

Hi, i think theres a bug with the display all hands setting in the hands section of cash games. i click it and it freezes my HEM after about 5 mins. before it freezes, i can change the settings to todays hands or w/e but it still does nothing, then i get a message from .net framework a little while later. then a big red cross in HEM.

Can you uninstall .net framework completely (every .net) from the Control Panel, reboot your computer and reinstall it from here: www.microsoft.com

Like you do for every software, go to the "Control Panel", Add/Remove software...

I tryed that and i still have the same problem. Do u think i have too many hands saved?
it says excepetion type: system was out of memory or something like that.

How many hands have you, but that's probably not the problem.

Can you try two things.

1) Remove those lines and try your issue: http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/2522/removewwwdw6.jpg

2) If this doesn't work, can you create a new DB, import some hands and try the issue: http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146

Repost if it still persists.

i have over 200k hands in my main database. seems like theres too many hands for it to open so it just freezes up...
ill try that vacuum analyze thing tomorrow.
i appreciate the help. If u have any more suggestions, let me know.

HM can easily have 10M+ hands. You DB was probably corrupted.

Is that working now?

Well i vacuumed it and im still having the same problem. the blue bar across the top like you get in firefox browser apears after a while then i get the .net framework message: system out of memory, and have to close it.

Had a database corrupt when i first bought this, it didnt like some of my party poker hands :-\

what do you suggest i do now?

Running a query to display 200k hands is too much, are you looking for a specific hand?

Hi Fabio

Im not looking for a specific hand, and i don't really need to display all hands. The problem is that, when i want to disaply all marked hands, or i untick 'display all marked hands', the settings will be on display all hands, which basicly stops me doing anything in the hand section till i re-start HEM, and if i don't change the setting to 'todays hands' or something i have to re-load HEM twice(it will still be on display all hands when i load it again).

I guess you could say it's not a big problem, but it just becomes tedious having to re-start HEM after making a mistake in the hands section.
