I'm trying to get the standardized hand histories to appear but no luck so far.

In an earlier thread (http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4128) Rvg72's advice was this:
"Best thing to do is to enabled Standardized hand insertion in the DB (from the hand history option screen) and then reimport.
You will find that very hand from every site is now saved in a fairly simple xml format..."

Now where is this setting I obviously need to change?
The only thing referring to standardized hand histories I could find was
options -> observed hand history configuration -> a check box that says "insert standardized hand format"

Is this supposed to be the setting I need? I did check it and re-imported the hands I'm working with but the column
'standardizedhandhistory' remains blank in the table 'handhistories'

Trying to find the answer using Google I found this (rather old) post by rvg72 from the 2+2 forum:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showpost.php?p=1369129&postcount=2041
However, there is no setting called "insert standardized hand history" in "miscellaneous options" in my version.

The HM version I'm currently using is 1.06.04 beta 7 and the HHs are from ongame.
Will upgrading HM fix the problem or did I just not find the right setting?

Thanks in advance. This is very important for me.

You would first have to purge the HH's from your db in order for this to work. When you re-import a hand that already exists in the db, it will be skipped. Everything else you are doing should work, at least it does for me.

It may be easier and cleaner if you just scrap your db and start over. Purging hands can lead to some problems in my experience.
