Hi all,
I hope someone can help me!

I downloaded Holdem Manager Pro this morning. During the installation phase I received the error that the "database" could not be created.
Now HM is installed however the program will not run. When I boot the program it tells me that the database could not be found, or it doesnt exist.

Thans in advance for your help
Bucky

Download and install Postgresql manually from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org).
Which error do you get exactly when running the manual installer?

Thanks for the info.

So followed the troubleshooting and it didnt really help. It seems that the only way I can get this to work is to completely uninstall my security suite permanently.
I temporarily disabled it to enable the download to take place however I then received the "Cannot connect to ....." (followed by the server address).

Is disabling the security suite permanently the only way this will work?

Thanks again

Hi, thanks again for your help with this!

My security suite is Mcafee. I have followed the instructions provided on the link, however now when starting HM I receive the error -
FATAL: 3D000: database "holdem manager does not exist"

So I am not sure if the other fix works as this is a new one....

Thank you in advance for sticking with me on this one :)

Can you still click connect--> and create a new database? (or connect to the old database)

If you can't connect at all with McAfee running, uninstall it completely.
