So.....

I messed up my computer, kept getting the Blue Screen of Death, and pissed around with it all weekend. Short story is I reinstall PostgresSQL. Now, Holdem manager had to create a new data base, and i can't get any of my old hands. Also, PT Holdem, Stud and Omaha can't find the old data bases either. I think they are still on my system, i just don't know how to import them into the new installation.

Any hellp would be greatly appreciated.

You should have exported the hands before uninstalling. Did you delete the PostgreSQL folder in C:\Windows and if not go to that folder and does it have 1 or 2 folders i.e 8.2 and 8.3 or something like that?

The old install has both a 8.2 and 8.3 folder in it. The new install is in a different location again. Wasn't expecting this, and now my system is really unstable. I am hoping i can save my data before i format.

Any ideas how to recover data?

Reinstall PostgreSQL to the same location you originally installed to and it will reuse the databases http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=177

Then export the hands and you can reimport them into the new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173
