Very strangely, since I downloaded the latest update for hem, under the hands tab no hands are listed at all, and there is just a blank white space. All filters are cleared, and all the other tabs seem to work ok.

Also, when I start up hem, I get a message pop up called "Database Update" which says hem needs to make some changes to my database to enable me to delete individual hands and/or sessions. I clicked update database the first time and it seemed to be doing something for over an hour, then eventually displayed an error message and I was prompted with the same message the next time I started up hem. Throughout the process my computer became very slow in every aspect.

Are the two problems related? Before I downloaded the latest update everything was fine.

Thanks for any help on this

Have you tried this version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm1.08Beta.exe and if this was the version that caused the problem does reverting back to this version help http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Lastly if you create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and import a few hands does it still occur with the new database

i will try that now. after doing the database update thing again i got the error message again. it says:

An error occurred: connection establishment timeout. Increase timeout value in ConnectionString. Please do not attempt to delete any hands until this is resolved. Contact support@holdemmanager.net for more information.

After clicking ok, a message appears saying:

The change has been has been completed. You can now delete hands by selecting one or more, right clicking and choosing 'Delete selected hands'.

it was http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate.exe which started the problem. After trying http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm1.08Beta.exe it asked the same database update prompt. I clicked the button to do it at another time in order to check the hands tab and found it to still be empty. Any suggestions?

after creating a new database, the hands tab did display tabs for my own stats, but for some of the other players there was nothing at all - no hands, no reports, nothing, despite me importing files with hands involving them. After running a report in the players tab it seems only 9 of the (23) next to players in the tab I am actually able to see hands for. It also occurred to me that when searching for my screen name by clicking change next to player, the number of hands next to my name on the list is different (more) from the number of hands that appears in the report once I select that player. All filters are still off.

so after running the database update thing for my main database on the 1.08 beta update I got the exact same error message and still cannot see any hands at all, neither under the hands tab nor in the normal areas beneath reports, preflop cards, sessions etc. Any suggestions?

Another issue I am having which I've never experienced before is that the order of sessions are getting mixed up due to the format of the dates - it seems that for certain sites (including ipoker) the date is written as month/day/year, while for others (including full tilt) write it as day/month/year. Possibly as a result of this, when I use the date filter to filter today's results, it displays a lot more than the hands I've played today, at least 4-5 days from the looks of things. Any suggestions at all? I don't know why but these days I seem to experience a new nightmare every week or so, all I want is for my hem to work the way it used to! Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide
