Hey,

I got a problem with my HM since 14.04.2011.
If I start the following Error appears:

Could not load file or assembly "WindowsFormsIntegration,Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Details:

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

System is Windows 7 SP1. HM is 1.11.06d. I did a reinstall with Revo - did not work. Reinstalling .NETFramework did not work too.
I need help urgently :(

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Update your graphics drivers - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/362/HowToUpdateYourGraphicsCardDriver

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel.
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

If none of that works, it may be necessary to reinstall windows from scratch.

Did you try to reinstall .net framework:
please reinstall your Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Run http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

Also run a Windows Update (install ALL updates)--> reboot--> run another Windows Update (repeat), until all updates have been installed.
Make sure Vista is installed to Service Pack 2, Windows 7 to SP1, XP to SP3.
When you run the Windows Update, also install ALL non-critical .net framework updates.

please try this: (it debugs the software)

1. Create a new text document in the HoldemManager/Config folder and name it LicDebug (so the file will be LicDebug.txt)
2. Open HM
3. Close HM and delete the LicDebug.txt file

---

Also try a reinstall of HoldemManager (don't reinstall PostgreSQL, just HoldemManager( with the full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe
and install it to a different folder.

This error indicates that something is wrong with NetFramework.
If nothing helps, possibly you need to reinstall Windows.

In some rare situations this is the only way. How long it (Windows) lives in your PC after last fresh install?

DoePopoe

about 4 months

Not so much... but if Framework reinstall did not helps... I am afraid, you need fresh and fully updated Windows - and only after that go to install Postgre and HM.
