I recently bought HEM.

I would know if there is a study or method to start study about managing hand form Barrierepoker.fr hands.

If it can help, i'm voluntary to collect data and help testing,....

But if the network grows it could be supported in the future.

Yatahay/ENET is the next network that we'll add support for first.

this network is growing... (FDJ aka "francaise des jeux" is a state monopolistic company, leader in france, who is managing national loto and all money game in france (except poker and horse races) and is not less than the second loterry manager over the world).
FDJ choose barriere.fr to expand its activities and more than 2000 players a day are currently playing on barriere poker (400 online a this hour, more than 1000 in the evening).
Barriere poker is also, in term of fiability the official partner of WSOP Europe (r) and one of the WSOP (r)
as a member of some french poker communities, i can tell you that you have a lot of customers, and future customers witch will be interested if you do this job...

Eh no... usually a ticket is:
-created (the bug is written up)
-one tester duplicates the issue

-then it's a matter of time for a programmer to fix it.
Most can be fixed in a day.
But some tickets take longer than others before they're picked up by the programmer.

It's only not possible to follow the full process / evolution of the ticket, but you'll be notified when the bug is resolved.

As explain by Jacques on reply 8, "la française des jeux" has a lot of money to use in advertising to become a big poker site. And Hold’em Manager must don't forget that Barriere poker will become quickly one of the biggest poker place in France.
Barriere poker is the place to be in France for HM.
Please, give us some information or timing about the porting of HM2 on the Barriere poker software.

for your information, a new french tracker (xeester) is in beta state... if you are not ready to manage one of the future big poker site in France before they release the final version, the french market should be very tough for you... the software is all in french and cover all the french room... as you certainly known, french players can only play on french room, and most of them don't speak english and will obviously prefer a french tracker if you are note ready, even good is your software...
when i saw that you've hand from a room which have 300 players a day before barriere, which is far more frequented, you should reexamine your priority list ;)

my opionion is that pokerscout only track members... and in France they are quasi unknown...
here is a capture of the room a this moment... its not relly full (its the afternoon) but you can see we are more than 133, and this doesn't incldue the cash... and in France they are seventh..
you should reconsider your sources...

Unfortunately we are not adding any support for new sites/games in HM1 going forward. HM1 only receives critical fixes to existing features now so we will not support it in HM1. Eventually we hope to support it in HM2 but we do not have an ETA for when that might happen.

Yes, it will be added eventually to HM2. I just wanted to be clear because this in the HM1 forum.

We are not starting on any new site support in HM2 until sometime after we release the new datagrid version of the software. The good news is that the datagrid should be released soon. The bad news is that we have a few new sites to add support for and I am not sure how soon after the new datagrid we will start adding support for new sites, or which order we will put them in terms of priority (ipoker speed, goldwin, winnning/yatahay, enet, barriere, etc).

I can understand why you think it would be this way but the squeaky wheel gets the oil. We have to use the popularity of the poker networks as a baseline along with the number of customer email addresses on the internal support request tickets to measure the popularity of a request. There are over 200 customer emails on the request for ipoker speed and under 5 customer emails on the barriere request.



As a developer I really understand that you dont want to add new imports before beeing sure of new datagrid stability.

We are actually discussing something similar right now internally. For HM1 we had a 3rd party site where customers could write feature requests and vote on them instead of using the feature requests forums here. This took some of the burden off of us so we didn't have to monitor the forums and search our open requests every time some wrote a new thread. We are debating something similar for HM2 but we are trying to weigh all the pro's and cons of our current system (using the forums + our internal bug/feature tracking) with the possible problems of adding another 3rd party site to the formula, based on what we learned when we had it for HM1.

I had made some comments on the forums a month or two ago, based on the information I had at the time, that this past release would hopefully be the release of the new datagrid. Unfortunately, as often happens with planned releases, our plans were changed/delayed. We are hopeful now that it is only 1 or 2 releases away but as we have seen in the past this is subject to change without notice.

I know you have a lot of work but I would like to give you some news of Barrière Poker.

Barrière Poker has grown significantly in recent months, it has taken a lot of market share and pass at the 26 th place before the Enet network (Online Poker Traffic Rankings & News | Poker Sites & Networks | PokerScout (http://www.pokerscout.com/)). Their program has evolved and I think it is better than PartyGaming iPoker or Everest. Their latest update allows multi-tabling comfortably with options like TableNinja.

We have to prioritize bugs and feature requests by the number of customers that are affected. Unfortunately we will not start working on any new site support until sometime after our next release. We did not want to start any new site support until AFTER our next release because of all the changes included in the new datagrid. If we also would have started on new site support along with the datagrid it would require even more internal testing and would likely introduce more new bugs that would delay the release of the datagrid changes. Once the new datagrid has been released the developers will start working on some new site support but we have a few new sites we are planning to support and I am unsure of which site will be added first or how long that might take.

I don't understand this post and have to assume that something is being lost in the translation. The information in my previous post was not making any assumptions of you at all. I was simply trying to be as honest as possible about why we haven't added support for them yet. We did not ask barriere for any money, receive any money from them, and we certainly did not pay them any money. We plan to support their site eventually but we have other more important issues to deal with first, that affect our entire customer base, before we add any new site support for a site with an average of 370 players online.

Nothing has changed since my last post. We are still working on our next release. It has been delayed much longer than expected due to some issues we had with the new datagrid and the ftp relaunch. No, not yet. There are still a few things in HM2 for us to address that didn't make it into the release (FTP MTT Multi-Entry issues, Rush PLO, Pacific HUD, etc) and we also have to work on our next HM1 release as well.

No, we have not started work on any new site support yet. Some people are having performance issues with our recent releases and that is our priority right now. Black Chip Poker also moved from Merge to Winning Poker Network (Yatahay/Enet) this weekend effectively making that network the largest US-Facing network now. The request for Yatahay/Enet support is much older than the Barriere request by nearly 3,000 tickets in our system so I expect that will get priority over Barriere once we finally get these recent performance issues narrowed down and start working on new site support.

I just closed HM-2640 as a duplicate of HM-4391 - Feature Request: Barriere.fr poker support. This is currently in private internal testing and we hope to have it included in our next release if all goes well.

It is currently in private internal testing for HM2. It will not be in the next release, like I previously suggested might be possible, but hopefully it will be in the following release of HM2 if all goes well in internal testing.

It will never be fully supported in HM1 AFAIK. Once it is implemented in HM2 then the new releases of HM1 might import the hands, since HM1 and HM2 share the same parsing code, but we will not be devoting developer time for HUD support in HM1. I think there is a 3rd party app available if you do some google searching that already supports barriere import/hud for both HM1 and HM2.

For clarification: It is in private testing but it will likely NOT be part of our next release. We are working on some bugs in our recent beta release and hope to have it officially released soon. Once that release is official we will HOPEFULLY be able to check this in to the beta branch from private testing and then it would be in the FOLLOWING beta/official release later this month or more likely early next month.

Our current build has parsing (importing) support for Barriere already. The developers are now working on HUD/Replayer support and that should be available in our next release if all goes well.

I've got the hud showing up with the latest release, but no option regarding the seating preferences. Barriere is not present in "Hud Options" "Seating preferences", so the stats are on the wrong players.

Please let me know the way to make the stats appear at their correct places.

I believe you will need to disable preferred seating in the barriere client, or use the HUD Settings > Arrows to rotate the HUD on each table, until we implement a preferred seating option in the HM2 HUD Options.
