Player names on HUD shorter?

I looked in the FAQ but couldn't see if there is a way to shorten the amount of characters HM shows in someones name? It shows 8 I think but I want to make it like 4, is this possible?

In Player Preferences with the ABB.Name stat selected change the decimal in the properties to 1 or 2 i think 1 is 3 characters and 2 is 5 characters or something like that

Hm it was already set to 0 by default somehow and I changed it to all 3 numbers but the characters didn't change.

Are you using this version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Hm1.08Beta.exe and do you have the abb.name stat selected when you change the decimal proprties
