I just started playing on Merge (Carbon) but am having a problem w/ the HUD. I believe I set everything up correctly by following this FAQ (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/325/Merge+Network+Setup), HEM is importing hand histories, and it even seems to find the tables in Table Manager ... but it won't overlay the HUD on the table w/out using Table Finder. :( I'm fairly familiar w/ how things get setup in HEm as I used to have working w/ Full Tilt & Stars for ages. I've done all the usual idiot checks (firewall exceptions, running applications as an administrator, etc.), and will run down the list I found in this other FAQ (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/48/My+HUD+Doesn%27t+Work):
1. What version of Holdem Manager are you using?
1.11.06d -- although I noticed that Table Manager is 1.11.06b.
2. What poker site are you playing on and does the problem occur on more than one site?
Carbon only. Everything was fine w/ Full Tilt & Stars.
3. Which type of game(s) are you playing? (NL, FL, Omaha, SnGs, MTT)
NLHE but so far only tried it using freeroll MTT's. (I haven't played any real money cash games yet.)
4. Have you clicked on the Start Auto Import button?
Yes, of course. ;)
5. Often times, it is one setting or option that's not correct in your poker client. Please see our Detailed FAQs (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1/Information+About+Setting+Up+Poker+Clients) on configuring Holdem Manager to work with poker sites to make sure your poker site is saving Hand History files. As mentioned above, been there, done that, all is fine in that dept.
6. Check to see if the hand histories are showing up in the folder that you configured in HM to auto import from.
Yes they are, and I can review them as well.
7. If you think the hands are importing the please go to the reports TAB, select your username and run a report with all filters off to confirm they have imported.Yup. They are definitely getting into HEM.
8. If the hand histories show up in the auto import folders, but they're not importing into the database, please create a new database and try importing some hands to test if it's a corrupt database. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
Nope, this isn't the issue.
9. Have you tried the Table Finder and did it work? http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+ I have tried it, and it has not worked. (See below)
10. If you open the hand history files, are they written in English? Yes indeed.
11. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder. It may be just called holdemmanager if youve extensions turned off.I'm attaching it.
I've also made sure that the I have a HUD configuration specific to Merge. (Actually, i just made a duplicate of the default & set it to work w/ Merge sites.) And as I said the only way I can get the HUD to appear is to use the Table Finder. I drag the red X over, and only then will it work. And I ever tried the suggestions netsrak posted here (http://forums.holdemmanager.com/260361-post13.html).
Please try the following:
1) Close Holdemmanager
2) Delete your existing file exenames.txt, so HM will rebuild it to default:
Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\exenames.txt
3) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.
Try the table finder again for the first table: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...er+to+Show+HUD (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD)
I did everything here, but still HEM won't put the HUD over the table on it's own. What should I do!?! Uuug.
