Norton usually causes lots of issues, its best to completely uninstall it, AVG is a good free alternative

argg I didn't have a prob, before, I just upgraded when I had to renew. Is there anything you can suggest to get this working, just paid $100 for it. I'm not a big fan of avg, my dad has it and he gets a massive amts of viruses. He prob visits shady porn sites mind you lol.

You can follow this FAQ http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=34 which will take you to FAQ 171

I presume the issue is its not connecting to PostgreSQL and if so you may need to follow that FAQ anyway to fix it but if it is Norton and it sounds like it from the description then it wont help following that FAQ unless you uninstall Norton

However if you do follow the FAQ you should be able to reinstall Norton afterwards but 2 things to consider 1) It may happen again with future upgrades and 2) Norton sometimes has a policy where you can only redownload the file within 60days of purchase or something on those lines which means if its 60 days after purchase if you ever have to reformat or uninstall you need to purchase again  so check this before uninstalling.

Ive used AVG for a longtime and i cant remember the last time i had a virus
