So yesterday I copied another config file into my laptop. Seems to work OK and I used HEM for a session.

Today I went to open it up and it wouldn't open. I was getting a ton of errors including "transport" errors.

So I updated to the most recent beta. While installing I got a few messages saying things like "Unable to update holdemmanager.exe" among others.

So i went to complete the process here http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/showthread.php?t=6698 but I cant even uninstall HEM as its not in the uninstall list in Programmes and Features in Control Panel. I installed it in the default location.

What now?

If that fails then you have a problem connecting to PostgreSQL so try the following:

So continue on following the instructions after that quote. To save you time its important you follow each step 100%, if you do skip a step youll just need to start at the beginning and do it all over again. Its a pain but thats Vista for ya:mad:

So I got to the part about Windows Defender but my Defender doesnt have that screen in the options section or in the allowed items section. Doesnt seem to have any method of allowing or adding programmes to be exempt from scanning.

Why wouldnt HEM be in the list to uninstall in Control Panel?
