Computer freezes when opening HEM

After upgrading my firewall, HEM won't work anymore. At start up, as soon as the word validating appears, my computer freezes and requires a restart. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling HEM but this did not solve the problem. Any suggestions?

And if you unactivate the firewall, does it works?

Just disabled the firewall, uninstalled and reinstalled HEM again and all is well.
