I have this problem with my monitor, where it sometimes shuts itself down out of nowhere. When this happens I need to manually shut down my computer, because it won't respond to anything else.

This happened just now after I started up HM and apparently this has affected HM, since it won't start up anymore saying it didn't find any license. A blue screen pops up saying this.

I still have my serial number somewhere so I could try reinstalling it, but I'm not sure what happens if I do. I wouldn't like to reconfigure HM all over again.

The license code wont effect your settings so try that, rebooting might have damaged one of the files so if the code dosent work please follow these instructions:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
2) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
3) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory, or the equivalent for Vista
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Download the latest patch HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.08beta.exe
8) Test if it for a while and see if it work
9) Close down Holdem Manager and copy the "holdemmanager.config" file which can be found in the backed up config folder from step 1 and copy and overwrite it to your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder
10) Test if it works again for a while

I remember there were some passwords regarding the postgresql database, which I probably don't remember exactly. Is that going to be a problem when reinstalling?

edit: that 1.08 update link doesn't work btw.
