I went to the HEM FAQ here: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/339/Software+Security+Problems+%28Firewall%29

These instructions are not for the current version of Norton Internet Security 2011. i did find a way to add hmhud.exe as a "trusted" app tho. i am still getting the unauthorized access blocked message in norton several times per minute.

the hud works fine however i am getting a ton of focus steals when stacking that only occur when HEM is in use. i am thinking that norton might be part of the problem. can anyone advise how to make norton work w/ hmhud

Uninstall it and use other antivirus.

what anti-virus would you suggest?

we recommend microsoft security essentials for antivirus/malware
There are plenty of options available other than MsES, but it is simple to install, use, and provides no conflicts.
AVG Antivirus (not their bundle), Avira Antivirus, ESET, are all other viable options
that dont cause problems like the McAffee, Norton, Bitdefender and Comodo bundles.
