http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/8182-fix-postgresql-cannot-start-error-127-0-0-1-a.html
This happens once every few months for me and it always ruin my day. And today it was time again. The fix didnt help..
And I dont want to uninstall my antivirus/internet security programs! I play poker for a living, I dont want my accounts getting hacked so I have no money for rent etc.
And I dont want to lose my entire database again!
Is there any way to fix this so I can start playing again? I depend alot on my HEM database.
Fast help is extremely appriciated!
I did the fix once before, so it already says the "127.0.0.1 localhost" thing. But now it happened again..

If you need a virus and firewall, I recommend you use windows firewall with Avg Free
AVG Free | Antivirus Download | Free Virus Protection (http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage)
If you would like an antivirus that you pay for
Eset NOD ESET - Antivirus Software with Spyware and Malware Protection (http://www.eset.com/)
Kapersky Home & Small Office Security | Kaspersky Lab United States (http://usa.kaspersky.com/products-services/home-computer-security)
they are both great options that will work with holdemmanager.
ok, thanks for the reply, I guess that just sucks because I payed for Norton 360 like last month for a 2 year subscription :p
I reinstalled postgres and now HEM works again, lost a bunch of hands though not all of them..
Anyways, thanks for your help. I will probably get AVG free soon.
