timeout error

evrything has been working fine untill now. this is what i get.

i click short cut icon. box pops up and says "connection establishment time outincrrease timeout in connection string"

the hold em manager pop box said it was initializung database.

then this pops up "in order for it to run well diable the uac need to properly install postgres"

-it is unchecked.

then pop up for postgres with the password and such pops up


what do i need to do?

k. i just tried this that i found in another thread, how do i uninstall anti virus?

Please update to this version http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.07beta.exe and try it again, if the problem persists completely uninstall your antivirus and add HM files to the exceptions list of Firewalls/Anti Spyware etc

k. i turned off all my virus protection. it didnt change anything.

I am trying to place Holdem Manager as an exception on the firewall but cannot find it anywhere on my hard drive to add it as an exception. Where would I find it?

Its stored in C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager by default unless you choose an alternative location

I have spent many hours looking for a solution and the solution was the easiest in the book!

I wish support have helped me instead of saying shut down the antivirus and firewall.
