Import problem @prima network

Hello,

I buy a new PC and i make a backup of the DataBase from the old PC.. i restore into a new DataBase, i get some warings wille restoring but all the hands were imported.

But now, when im playing on the new PC there´s like 30% of the hands that were not imported, but on the HUD the hands are increased each Hand.. like im playing 2 tables.. i see 30 hands on my nickname but when i check the session on HM i only see 20 hands.

It looks like the backup became corrupted. Please try exporting the hands from the current database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 and then create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and import those hands into the new database

i have other question.. if i continue playing on the old computer can i use this method to update my new DataBase? the problem is.. the new DB recognise the duplicated hands? Or i have to import only new hands from the old DB ?

You should only restore a database once into a blank database, restoring into a database that already has hands may corrupt it and cause duplicate hands. If you want to update use the export http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 and then import those hands into the new database.

yes.. i understand that.. but im talking about updating using the import files.. but when we import on the second time it will be duplicate hands that will be imported via import files

You can just export the hands you need, lets say you just want the hands for January, run the Month January filter in the Hands TAB and in the bottom pane change it from 100 to all and let the hands display. When there all displayed right click any hands and choose export all hands to hard drive, this will give you a popup window on completion and tell you where the HH's are saved. Just export these hands into the other database
